He is on the Board of Trustees of the World Affairs Council, a nonprofit that promotes programs and interaction with leaders, educators and professionals worldwide, and is Co-Founder and Director of Merritt Software Technologies, Ltd., a software development center in Mumbai, India. Gregory Brown is a Managing Director of The CAPROCK Group, a $3 billion multi-family office serving ultra-high net worth clients. Greg also serves on several boards and advisory boards, including IPAR LLC, and La Plaza International. Previously he was an active investor and entrepreneur with a background in product and business development strategy, capital formation, and mergers and acquisitions. As a partner with The Sienna Group, a middle market private equity investment group, he played a key role in identifying, transaction structuring, acquiring and developing several investments. Prior to Sienna, Mr. Brown launched, built, and sold three technology companies. Greg has judged more than a dozen business plan competitions.

He is an accomplished entrepreneur, angel investor, and a business advisor. He has built and successfully sold his last five businesses. His last firm raised $8 million dollars and was sold for over $100 million. He is well respected in the business and service community and speaks globally at technology conferences. Rick has sat on boards, advisory committees and has been President and CEO of two publicly traded companies. In each of the markets Rick has tackled, he has embraced the industry’s community by being involved in industry committees, political initiatives, standards boards, and by speaking at conferences.

Her entrepreneurial career includes Business Development for several successful Internet software startups and she was co-founder of a Seattle based Public Relations Firm. Her experience includes business development, recruiting, marketing and public relations management for companies in the technology, media and professional services industries. As a Washington State delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business she represented State economic development issues in the National arena. She has served on numerous community service boards, is a past president of the board of Seattle’s Media Arts Center and was founding director of the Digital Media Alliance, now part of Washington Technology Industry Assn. Sheila’s background also includes Director of Marketing, Powder Magazine, where she was an original investor. She is an Internet technologies pioneer involved with several ventures. She holds a BA, Cum Laude, from the University of Washington.
